Americana Classics - Strum Together: For Ukulele, Baritone Ukulele, Guitar, Banjo & Mandolin

A highly original approach of which I thoroughly approve. Each right hand page shows the song with lyrics, notation and chord names. On the left hand page are chord diagrams for (wait for it…) standard uke, baritone uke, guitar, mandolin & banjo. These are clear, laid out one row per instrument and relevant for each song. VERY impressive if American folk music is your thing. I want to know if there are other books that use this style. Well worth a serious look.

I got this as a "Share Gift" (I get a present for someone each year that can make them happy and give them and excuse to spend time with their friends) for a friend. I play banjo, she and another friend play ukelele and sing, my husband plays guitar and now we can all play together. Soppy gift, nicely laid out book and some fantastic pieces in it.

Great idea for a book some of the chords are different from what's commonly used but the work we for ukulele and guitar not sure about the other instruments but it does make you want to have a go at them so be warned.
