Great book with easy to play songs. I love that we can each see our chords as we strum together!

I figured it would be nice with lettered cords above the words. But this actually shows all the cord diagrams of each instrument and each song. This makes playing each instrument very easy. I’m teaching some family members to play a different instrument so we can perform for our annual Christmas gathering. Highly recommend for even a beginner.

Great collection of several standard Christmas pieces. I did find a misplaced chord, but once moved to the correct note placement, all was fixed. I played Ukulele and Mandolin and enjoy the fact that should I forget the fingering for a chord on either instrument, they are right there. Music is on the right side, chords for all the instruments are on the left side. Makes for great fun and strumming!

Easy to follow and has many Christmas favorites songs. If you have friends that play these instruments is turns to a lot of fun.

Excited to get, FAST and in great condition

I've started to use "chord books" as a fast way to learn songs that friends and family can sing along with. The Strum Along series are fantastic for this. If I have heard the song before then the strum along arrangement is perfect. Almost all of the chords are first position chords and easy for beginners to play. The chords used are on the facing page. This is not full sheet music but that's ok because I can fill in the gaps by ear. My guess is that you can too.

Nicely laid out, the sheet music is easy to read and the accompanying chord chart is very helpful.

Really like these 'strum together' music books. The music is not overly complicated to learn, and in fairly quick order you can be strumming along.The one thing I might like to see is a suggested simple strumming pattern key at the front of the book. I have that in a couple of music books and it helps when getting started. As my knowledge, confidence and capabilities grow, I've branched into other patterns.

The nice thing about this book you can invite your friends over to have them play along with you without having to buy another song book. Also, if you play several instruments that are listed in the song book you won't have to buy another song book.

Why aren't there more of these types of books out there? This book shows you the chord structures for five different stringed instruments, which is so very helpful, and means much more fun as many different instruments can play along together. Fabulous idea -- thank you!
