I ordered these plug plants after my own sweetcorn plants were a disaster at my allotment plot. I wanted a quick catch up instead of planting my own plants which would’ve taken some time.The plants look how I expect them to look for June and before they settle in the ground and take up the nutrients to grow stronger. I got about 19 plants but with travel I have about 17 surviving plants.The plants were averagely packaged and in this heatwave survived the journey quite well considering the plants are only in containers and a box labelled this way up. I think that it’s quite amazing that they weren’t toppled upside down I think they would’ve been a lot more casualties if it was. The Post Office did an incredible job! My post person who is male knows I have an allotment with all the weird and wonderful things that he has delivered to me so I think he took great care at the sorting office ; )Happy with the purchase but I think the plants could have done with something holding the soil and plants in place for transport and delivery purposes.

The sweetcorn arrived in great shape. Sometimes there were three to a tiny cell and after a chat with the very helpful seller I realise that you shouldn't try to split them up at this stage but plant the 'threesome' together and split them when they are more mature. I ruined a few by trying to split them too soon. Too early to say if they will do well but most of them look healthy.

Paid a reasonable amount for larger plants Arrived looking like cress. No root ball, broken plants and very fragile . Looked like individual bits of cress had been repotted into bigger pots. Tried nurturing three that had not broken but not one plant survived . We have an allotment so have fairly good knowledge on plants. Unable to get a refund as nothing worth sending back - so lost my money too!! Packaging was not damaged so that was not the issue.

I was concerned about ordering live plants via mail, they arrived yesterday, they looked a bit worse for whare, I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, I put them in a cold frame watered them, not that they needed it, they were obviously well a watered before packaging, just got in from a night shift, and only after 18 hours out of the box, they look like they could take on the world, would highly recommend.

Really a great buy, arrived well packed & in perfect condition highly recommended, company informed me they would be a few days late but it was well worth the wait.

All wilted and dry rooted on arrival, all died within days.

The plants arrived well packaged and on time. Though I ordered 54 plants, there were actually more than that number in the package, and they were of good quality and size.
