Used for our monitor
We were in need of a new power cable for my wife's monitor, having lost the original one some time ago. This lead does the job without issue. Seems to be well made, great price and works. So, if you need a power cable for your monitor, buy this one :-)

OK if you don't need 'flex'
The lead seems fine and at first I was impressed BUT ... this was very lightly used for portable equipment and after a few occasions of plugging and unplugging (maybe 10 or so) the outer cable cracked showing the inner strands of insulated cable, I have 'repaired' this a few times only for the cracking to reappear somewhere else.I've not used them often but now intend to throw them away.UPDATEWhilst searching for replacements I noticed that the suppliers offered lifetime warranty so I did mention this to them - despite my leads being over 2 years old they refunded the order immediately ... WOW ... how is that for service. My view is that it's how you manage when things go wrong that is important and TRD Electronics have been exceptional. They have my replacement order.

Kettle Lead
Required a longer kettle lead for our photocopier. Good quality lead and met teh need perfectly.

Does what it says
This is a standard cable, sturdy but is flexible and at 5m it is definitely long enough to reach a socket somewhere in the lounge. The cost is good and overall great value.

Check before purchasing
Take note, this is a 13amp power cable, not the 5amps more commonly required for monitors and game consoles. After some research, it became clear trying to apply more amperage than necessary can be dangerous even if it may power on. I rather not take the risk and highly recommend others do not if they are looking for similar power requirements. On top, while the cable may be sufficient for normal use, the quality in many ways is inferior to original cords provided with electrical devices. This plug unit is thinner and with far fewer safety/regulatory checks as shown on the plug's rear. I prefer avoiding the potential risks and paying more for a cord that will assure me against the many electrical uncertainties.

Was great for a simple need!
I recently had a small electrical fire in my apartment that led to a few of my power leads burning out.I was a little nervous post-electrical fire but these cables were sturdy, well built, and definitely as safe as they come. Really helped sort out the problems I was having in a jiffy and could go back to using my appliances in no time!
