I have a pin in my wrist and have been starting to get a little arthritis in my thumb. I've used different types of wrist braces and this one in particular is the best I've tried! It's very comfortable and holds my wrist in place do that it's pain-free the entire time I wear it. It's also helped with some elbow tendinitis I've been having. When the wrist is held properly, it keeps the tendon between the wrist and elbow from flaring up. Ossur makes top-quality braces and I was able to purchase the brace from this seller for much less than I would have had to pay using my health insurance. It came quickly and has been used every night! Love it!

RE: Ossur Formfit Thumb Spica Wrist BraceOver the course of a few weeks, I have purchased and returned several of these. They are certainly comfortable and well-padded and they look well constructed initially, but invariably the stitching breaks loose or even worse, after only a week, the sharp corner of the metal thumb stay punctures through the fabric at the top of the thumb making it unsafe to wear.I believe there is a design flaw with the thumb stay. It doesn't follow the curvature of the inside of the thumb so it is destined to protrude and rupture the fabric at the top corner.I've read some reviews that have stated that they cannot return this brace. You better believe you CAN return it if it's not fit for purpose after only a very short time. Like I said, I've already returned several through Amazon Returns and by golly I'll keep doing it if I have to until somebody gets the message.

Broke my wrist in summer. Kind ortho advised me to order an additional brace on Amazon for getting wet. It is the exact same brace my ortho had for me in the office. I kept one dry and used the 2nd for showers and swimming. Awesome!

Fits well and helps a lot.

This is made well and sturdy, but is very restrictive, but when I use it, it does seem to bring inflammation of joint down. Just realize cannot do anything too tedious when wearing.
