NagaokaJN-P500 Stylus for MP-500 Cartridge

Fitted It on my current Nagaoka 150 cartridge to replace the original 150 stylus - you will hear the change even out of the box and before the stylus breaks-in for a full performance (requires 30 hrs of playing). A great way to save, but I am sure the original all-metal MP-500 cartridge will an event better job. Please note that the NJ-500 is slightly (by a gram) lighter than the 150 stylus, please check the pressure required by the manufacturer and adjust your counterweight.

Excellent tracker with refined sound. Punchy deep bass with smooth treble but detailed. An excellent all round stylus and upgrade for MP-200 etc. and less fatiguing.

Package was well packed and arrived on time without any damage.

This is in my believe the best MM cartridge you can get. There is no things when I listen I think, I wish they did this...Yes there are even nicer sounding ones, as far as I heard them all MC which is extra expensive since now you have to use a step-up transformer and stylus replacement gets pricey whit these. Cannot beat the $255 for a new stylus here.Most Cartridges (other brands) we buy today are made by Nagaoka.Nagaoka also still makes their own tips hence they have full quality control.Ortofon is one of the other manufacturers who still make their own too cartridges to which are also very good.Also happy to learn Amazon sell replacement Stylus for it for a very good price.Highly recommended.
