Pretty incredible for the price, cute, and very practical.
First impressions are, it is pretty sharp out of the box. I can't speak of the edge retention as I've only had it one day. The blade material might make it a little weaker in that area. But my brother has 3-4 of these minimalists styles now and they have held up pretty nice for durability. No doubt about the practicality, we beat up our knives and use them for everything we can. But in terms of size it's smaller than I was thinking making it a very cute knife. No issues there though. It is meant to be a small neck knife for me so it has succeeded there. The Persian style I feel could have a fragile tip compared to maybe the bowie or tanto style. But it's not for prying things as much as looking nice. For Style points the Persian is very pleasing to look at and I'm very happy with how it looks. The handle is not bad looking at all and it's comfortable to hold. I saw a few comments talking about how the handle looks worn or used. That's just the way it looks, if you look at the factory pictures you can see the same "wear" marks in some of them I think it might be the process that causes that or the sanding of the handle.. As far as cost, you can't beat it. $20-$50 for a small usable, practical, good looking knife. I've had more quite a few knives that I spent a lot of money on that I would rate lower than these. Lets be honest most of us aren't using knives for much more than cutting tape, boxes, paper, sitting in our pockets, looking at, cooking, or even the occasional camping trip. For the price this hits most of those things. I won't be skinning a deer with it but I bet I could get away with it if given the chance. $40 for the Persian I'm really happy with it. Will defiantly be getting more of the Minimalist styles.

Fantastic knife for the price
The blade is supremely thin and slice-y, it came shaving sharp, the sheath is decent, the handle is comfortable even in my gorilla hands. I used the string it comes with to make loops I can route my belt through for horizontal carry, and I can forget about it easier than a belt buckle and retrieve it faster than a folder.

EDC
Had the bowie model for years and recently lost it. Went with persian for the blade profile. Razor sharp and perfect for skinning. Upswept tip allows longer stroke and smoother follow through. The finger grooves make this line of knives. Locks into your grip comfortably in many comfortable positions. Sheath holds the knife securely over years of heavy use (lost my old one due to aftermarket neckstrap failure. Next guy gets it with the sheath lol). Dont leave home without it.

Great little blade
As usual with CRKT, well made and sharp right out of the box. For what it was designed to be, a small neck carry knife, it is actually better than I expected. I'll keep it.

Nice little knife (Persian)
There is a lot to love in this knife. Easy to keep on your person and extremely quick access worn on the belt. It is very sharp out of the box. Not quite razor sharp, but will pop some hairs off your arm if you test it that way. Plenty sharp for a EDC.The shape of the Persian blade is great. Reminds me of my Schrade sharp finger that I've had for 30 years, great skinning knife. The look of the knife is awesome too. Love the handle material and the shape and color. I'm probably going to cut the Kevlar dangly thing off as it serves no purpose other than to annoy me. The grip, while aggressive and cool, is the only reason I don't give this 5 stars. Certain hand grips are just uncomfortable for me with this knife and I wish the finger grips were far less agressive. Hopefully I never need to use it in a defensive situation as I am not all confident with a good stabby grip on this. What I mean by that is holding the knife with the blade closest to your pinky and index finger off the grip completely, blade out so you can slice with a punch or swinging motion.Anyways, good little knife and I'll use it a ton.

Does it lock in the sheath? Mine did!
This thing came very sharp, and even for my bigger hands, I feel like I can really hold onto it firmly and easily. I was apprehensive, reading a few reviews that said the sheath didn't hold the knife firmly. Mine is nice and snug. No issues. It's so handy on the farm, always needing a knife, and it's right there, razor sharp, ready to go. No more digging in my pocket, or forgetting what pair of pants I had on last time, or if my knife has gone through the wash lol. I love this thing.

Great knife terrible sheath
Quality knife, good grip very sturdy and sharp. Sheath doesn’t come close to the quality of the knife, all plastic with plastic hardware lost the knife a few times already from it falling out
