Dorfman Hat Co. Twill Cap for Men and Women with Pre Curved Brim

Dorfman Pacific makes good quality hats and this one is no exception. 100% cotton. Appears to be constructed well with good quality control on seams and stitching (even though made in China); and, at least the two I bought (Khaki) are true colors. I am particularly pleased with this belt-style adjustable, "one size fits most". Unlike other hats I have bought from other companies without fixed sizing, the material is generous making this hat big enough to fit comfortably and look good on my rather large, 23" head with some room to spare. I wear ball caps all the time and have been ordering and wearing Dorfman hats for several years, and have always enjoyed the quality and fit.When they get a bit dirty, just toss in the washer and they are good to go again.I try to keep at least one new one on hand at all times simply because I find Dorfman to be the best and don't want to get caught without one.

I like the Dorfmann twill hat fit better than almost any other ball cap, and I like that you can get a hat without any advertising on it. This is the most recent one I have bought, and it was a little too big. There is an adjustable band, but the hat sat all the way down where my ears met my head, and still wasn't all the way down on the top of my head. There is some variation in these from hat to hat. I soaked the top of the hat, and not the brim, and put it in the dryer on medium heat with a load of laundry being dried, and it shrank up to a perfect fit.

First of all let me say I'm not a hat person. In the last 20 years I've only bought one hat of any kind, a Dorfman ball cap in Olive Drab color and that's all I've worn. I've washed it a number of times. Now twenty years later I'm bald enough to NEED hats. So this last year I bought two more Dorfman ball caps, Navy Blue and Tan colors.I'm set.Nothing worse that a mesh plastic tall form crap hat with someone's business logo on it, get some class.Dorfman hats have class. No I done get a dime from them, another hat might be nice though, dark green.

The color is true to what I saw on the screen (turquoise) the fabric is nice as well. The fit is somewhat larger than I would like but if I tighten the strap across the back it's not so loose. The main criticism I have is that the slot to tuck in the excess strap in the back is kind of difficult, it's hard to push the excess through, so I can't really get the tighter fit I want.

I like that these are washable and have no logos. As soon as they show a sweat stain, hit it with stain remover, throw it in the wash and air dry. Good as new and last a couple of seasons.
