I bought this bike for my son for a beginner bike and I tell you what when I was younger my first bike was a Eastern. I loves my bike we went to the skate park and brought back so many memories. I can still get down on then to not a clean as I once was but I impressed my son. lol. couldn't be happier with the sealed stem sealed mid crank and front and rear hubs. if you looking to buy would definitely recommend. Great customer service all the people that had dents or nicks in the paint if ya call or email Eastern they will send you a new bike or part. They are great

I ordered the Eastern Javelin. It’s absolutely amazing, especially for the price. It’s smooth riding, lightweight, pre-drilled holes to upgrade for detangler brakes, excellent customer service that will replace parts if broken. The only uncomfortable thing is the seat, which can easily be replaced. I added pegs, which is simple on the front. I called the support line for the rear and they sent me a longer axle for the rear for free. The one that comes on it is too short to add pegs, but they have other options if you just ask. My front rim seemed warped when it came in, but I hope the simple spoke adjustment works to fix the problem. For a BMX bike with everything completely sealed, double wall rims, lightweight, and partially chromoly, I don’t think you’ll find better for the price. Eastern is excellent!

Multiple dents that had been painted over from factory. Some fresh scratches on the handlebars. I would have returned this bike. But my son was too excited to try it out.

Recently had thus bike purchased for me as a gift from my wife.Overall seemed to be good quality for the price and I've heard plenty of good things about Eastern bikes and their parts as I've used their parts on my setups in the past.I received this bike September 22nd and only rode a handful of times until the today.I was riding the bike with my daughter and the handlebars because difficult to turn and rotate. Upon inspection of the headset that came on this bike. The top sealed and the bottom semi sealed, I noticed that a good amount of metal shaving and exploded ball bearings were present.Keep in mind I didn't do any extreme stunts or beat on it heavy at all. Just general riding around with the family.Overall a pretty decent bike, but the headset bearings exploding put a damper and sour taste in my mouth as I've had mongoose bikes with better bearings than what came with this.Another issue to be weary of is the spokes were all extremely loose. This was an easy fix as I am familiar with how to tighten spokes properly, however this could be an issue with more novice or beginner riders.I would love to give the bike 5 stars but at this time it is getting two stars for the fact that it didn't last even a month before some kind of failure of the components.

It's an awesome smooth,coasting, bike that's super lightweight but durable. Needs seat post adjustment if rider is 5ft 9in tall+. Plastic affixed seat molding doesn't allow for angle of seat to be adjusted. Other than that the bike is exactly what seller presented and I am completely satisfied with this purchase!
