The Best of Kylie Minogue

This is Kylie's best for sure, all her great songs and a few great older songs that she does so well, she is very upbeat to listen too and i just love her voice.....she can get you in a great mood and make you feel like dancing with her....and i would never compare her to Madonna, she is much better and has her own style, so if you are looking for some great music to listen to or to work out to, or while driving somewhere or for your mp3, you will love her!!!!!

Music is great. Auto-Rip is a nightmare. It is anti intuitive. The software just starts doing things. I just want to download the CD I just bought but Auto-Rip starts checking my computer for music I have on it and I have no idea what it is doing with this information. I just want to download the CDI just bought. Don't count on Auto-Rip working for you. Seems like an invasion of privacy to me.

Fans of Kylie Minogue know that it would be a difficult task to rummage through her 25 year career and widdle it down to just a few choice selections of her biggest hits. But thankfully, it has been done for them! "The Best of" is a single CD collection that presents what is being billed as the "cream of the crop", the "icing on the cake", the "choice cut" of Ms. Minogue's fabulous career. While it mainly works, combining the modern disco beats of her most recent work with a small serving of her past hits, the exclusion of a few "must have" tracks mar the package. "Shocked" and "What Do I Have To Do" would have served the public better than "Never Too Late" and "Give Me Just A Little More Time". But there is always "Ultimate Kylie", a double disc set release a few years back, for new fans to fall back on. Kylie has slowly been creeping into the American market, hopefully package will help new fans jump on board and old fans reconnect with one of the world's biggest pop stars. And in the end, "The Best of" is a fun collection that is purely pop.

I had never heard of Kylie Minogue but while dining in a restaurant heard one of her tunes and asked the wait staff to track down the artist so I could buy the music. I sampled several CD's but liked this one the best. I primarily like blues, rock and some jazz so this added variety to my collection. I ripped all the tunes.

The videos are a history of music video in general, showing Kylie as a teen to the present day. Interesting to note how her video productions evolved with the times. The camera just LOVES her. Great package and although some will gripe about one of their favorite songs being left out, this is a well-chosen compilation of her history to date.

Whether you're a long-time fan, a casual fan, or just curious about Kylie Minogue, this CD/DVD is perfect for you. Us long-time fans already have all of these songs, but it's nice to have them in one pretty package and even nicer to have the accompanying music videos. It's a great mix of songs from Kylie's 25 year career, even if it merely skims the surface of her work.
