Frankly put, this is a one time use item for a very particular purpose; costumes for a night. And for that, frankly, they are awesome! 5 longish strands for 8.99?! Awesome. Perfect for the price and use. Dont rely on these for a life saving purpose, and you wont be disappointed. Yes, a little dim, but perfectly visable at night, And emphasized in twilight conditions. Friends could see me across a parking lot. buddy got the orange version, and as you can see in the photo, both stand out well.

The media could not be loaded.  Super easy to use and very effective even from a distance. Needed to be completely dark though or the effect was reduced. Battery life varied on different units. And connections on one set of lights to the battery pack unit was a little loose and would have to be unplugged and redone occasionally. The lights could be positioned and we used clear box tape to outline a guitar and a ball.
