Purple Heart Wood Turning Blanks 6pcs - 2" x 2" x 12"

I am very pleased with this Maple product. It arrived as advertised and as illustrated. The blanks measure precisely 1-7/8" to a side and are sanded to edge perfection. The quality of the wood is at least as good or better than I saw in the images. Packaging was secure and protective.

First of all, when you cute it it turns brown. I was nervous it wouldn’t turn purple, but it became a beautiful color in a few days near a window. Heat also helps speed it up, but if you go too far it’ll turn brown forever. Ask me how I know…

$48 for one 2"x2"x24' and free worm holes. Won't buy from these folk again.

I didn't know what to expect, but what I got exceeded my pessimistic expectations. These blanks are high quality, premium wood and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. I will order from this company again and again and would recommend their product to anybody.

First thing is this one piece of 1.5x1.5x18” blank is very expensive compared to the four pieces of maple wood(same measurements),that I ordered from a different supplier on the same Amazon order that was actually 5dollars cheaper. Second thing is the blank has a small curve and I didn’t notice it until after I had just cut into it, this is why I’m not returning it but I will not be using this supplier again when there are other reputable suppliers that are also cheaper…. I wasn’t impressed:(

The color was so far off it barely looks like Purple Heart Wood. If you don’t like it you’re going to be losing money on your return! Might as well just to use it for firewood.

The website in Amazon for Cherokee is confusion. It changes sizes and quantities automatically getting one confused. Also pricing is crazy. 6 off costs less than 4 off etc. I got confused and accidently ordered 1 off thinking I was getting 4 which was a reasonable price for 4. But one arrived. I wish to return it but Cherokee now want me to pay their shipping plus the return shipping plus 10%. This is not in accordance with the return policy on the site.
