I have a budget stick welder that came with a cheap handheld mask. As a complete novice I need all the help I can get and wanted a mask that auto darkened to eliminate the need to look away from the weld. I am thrilled with this mask it works brilliantly for my needs as a novice welder at a brilliant price.I have found it to be comfortable to wear and easy to adjust for a close fit. I have a large head (62cm) and had room to spare if I wanted to wear a hood etc. Happy to recommend.I emphasise that I am a novice so have not used anything better so cannot speak to what an experienced welder would make of it.
