My dog was a bit apprehensive initially. He is a puppy so it was new. He now goes to it and looks at it when he wants a walk. I keep his poop bags in one pocket, another pocket for picking up poop until we get to the a trashcan and the other pocket has his ball most of the time. When it is cold it fits over his jacket that his mother makes him wear. He holds his mother's cell phone when she does not have pockets. He just needs a few patches to complete the look. I would not recommend anyone pickup a dog with the hand holds. It is however good when they sit to steady them.The straps need to be cut to the size of the dog. I'm going to add snaps to the ends of the straps to slip on to the side to keep them out of his way when walking. He has not yet peed on it. The straps fit snuggle under his belly/chest and across the front of his chest.If it last more than 5 year I would buy again. After a few months. I'm still impressed.
