The size given for each book wrap is the maximum internal size. Thus the BWM02 is quoted as 217x155x52mm and that is the maximum size of books etc which it will take. The actual size of the parcel when folded with its contents will be larger (except the smallest/thickness dimension may be less than quoted (in this case 52mm) if the contents is smaller.

The dimensions given are for the inside of the wrapper. That is the maximum size of the contents.

Q: Are these suitable to send a CD in jewel case or are they too big?

The BWM02 version of this book wrap will take a CD in a jewel case although the box will take a book etc up to eight and half inches (217mm) x six inches (155mm). It larger than the five and half inches (140mm) x five inches (130mm) of a normal CD case. However, I think that it would still provide adequate protection and I would use it to mail one (or several) CDs.
