Specialy for picking up the gold leaf sheets.Makes it easier.It helps alot! The sheets are delicate, but it will help. There are many other uses.

What I expected
These bamboo tweezers are exactly what I expected, bamboo. They work fine for picking up very small items.

These things are pure junk and a waste of money. The crimps are weak and the hairs just fall out. Do not buy these unless you want bristles in your work. These shouldn't even be allowed to be sold

Would have been perfect if...
Would have been perfect if the head had been more secured to the wooden handle - the metal cincher that holds the bristles was kinda wobbly on all three... I superglued mine so they wouldn't wobble so much. They do shed a bit as well... but they're so natural and fluffy I kinda love them for delicately placing my gold leaf. <3
