ORGANIC CEREMONIAL Matcha Green Tea Powder from Kagoshima JAPAN | Japanese Tea KIMIKURA | Matcha KIMIKURA (100g/3.5oz 1pack)

I'm new to matcha so I spent a few days researching the best ceremonial grade matcha I can find for an affordable price and I came across this one from Kagoshima Japan from recommended videos online. I decided to give it a try and I'm very pleased with this product. I recommend sifting the powder before whisking it with water to avoid small clumps that formed the first time I tried it. If you do this, it blends beautifully. The color is a bright green and it foams up slightly when whisked with water. I make it americano with a splash of half and half (as shown in the picture). The taste is super smooth, creamy, earthy and nutty (not at all bitter or fishy). Been drinking this matcha at minimum every morning for about a week and a half and I feel a steady calm energy throughout my day. Don't miss coffee one bit! Would repurchase!!

A little too seaweedy for my taste but it was clearly high quality and I'd rather have something bold than bland. This was my third matcha from Kimikura Tea and they've all been yummy.

It's very green and very delicious at an affordable price. I will be buying this from now on.

I enjoyed this, I felt like it was an alright price. The flavor is really good and it came packaged well. I will say the colors in the Amazon pics are kind of misleading, the one I received is definitely not the greenest Matcha. Not my favorite so far, but certainly worth trying because it might be your favorite.

I’ve been buying this matcha for about 4 years now. There was a time when it was sold out for months! I tried a few other brands during that time but immediately returned to this one as soon as it was available.The color is perfect and the taste is divine! 10/10 recommend

i was super excited to try this matcha but it unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. i was pleased with the bright green color and the smell of it fresh out the tin. i was unfortunately met with a very slight fishy smell when whisking it which threw me off but i continued to use it. fortunately is doesn’t taste fishy but the flavor in the first sip doesn’t really taste like anything then i was left with a slightly bitter taste and a weird coating in my mouth. its not too bad to where i can’t finish the tin but i will don’t be purchasing this matcha again :(

I’m relatively new to matcha and did some research before buying this powder. During my research, I realized that I am not looking for a matcha powder with an “umami” or bitter taste but rather nutty and a bit sweeter. I love the beautiful, rich green color that this powder creates! I add a bit of toasted vanilla syrup to mine for that extra sweetness. Only thing I’d recommend is purchasing an airtight tea canister to keep this in - since it comes in a pouch, I noticed it’s important to keep this fresh in order to keep the potency and flavor quality.

I recently started my matcha journey and did my research on different matcha brands. After a few hours of research I settled on this brand since I had seen good reviews and feedback from others. After opening it I saw the vibrant green color and was hit with a beautiful fresh earthy smell. It is a great price for the amount that you get. It is recommended to consume matcha within a month of opening so I keep mine refrigerated to keep it fresh for longer just in case I cant finish it within a month and to keep it from oxidizing quickly. I would definitely recommend if you're wanting to try matcha at an affordable price.
