This product was purchased via a candy store located inside of a shopping complex.Manufactured by brand ‘LuvIt’, this product contains ‘Crazy Pops’ or chocolate candies covered with sugar shell.The ‘Crazy Pops’ I received were primarily in yellow, blue, green, pink, and orange colours. The colours are aesthetically appealing.While the product concept is similar to that of ‘Cadbury’ ‘Gems’, the ‘Crazy Pops’ are not as compressed as ‘Gems’. This aspect makes the sugar shell come across as the main component of the product in terms of texture and flavour, not the chocolate.The sugar shell is tasty, without being cloyingly sweet. It has a light ‘crunch’ to it.However, the inability to taste the chocolate component ends up negatively affecting one’s overall experience with the ‘Crazy Pops’.The candy could benefit from being added to chocolate-based products: such as to a scoop of chocolate ice-cream or atop brownies, so as to ‘mask’ the relative lack of ‘chocolate’ flavour.The quantity of the candy received is substantial enough to last for a long period in time.The container the product is packed inside of can be utilised for storage of household items after sterilisation, though this entirely depends on one’s personal preference.Overall, it is left to one’s discretion when considering the purchase of this product.
