Sturdy, versatile and easy to assemble!
The REP FITNESS Unassembled 3 in 1 Wood Plyometric Box is a fantastic addition to my home gym. Assembly was a breeze—everything fit together perfectly, and the instructions were clear. Once put together, the box is incredibly sturdy, and I feel safe doing jumps, step-ups, and other exercises without worrying about wobbling or instability. I love the 3-in-1 design, which allows for different height options, making it versatile for various workouts and fitness levels. It’s also made of solid wood and feels like it’ll last a long time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their conditioning and jump training!

Good product, simple to assemble and solid once put together
I am not a CrossFit person and I got this box to use for box steps, box steps with dumbells, one and two legged box jumps and whatever other exercises I find that work for me. So far I have used this about 4 times a week for a half hour at session and it has worked great. I have no other plyo box to compare it to, but I recommend it as a solid product and worth the money.I have all the wood working tools, large table saw, routers, saber saw, etc., so I had found some plans and was going to knock out my own plyo box. However, all my tools are in my unheated garage and I did not feel like waiting for warm weather to make it and while this box costs more than buying your own material, it is not that much more that it bothered me as this uses very good plywood and is a very solid design. The material arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble. Like any wood working project dry fit the panels together before you do any gluing or much screwing to be certain you have the right panels in the right places. I assembled it by myself in maybe 30 minutes using a power driver/drill. I have built a lot of cabinets by myself so I am used to juggling things, a second set of hands would be helpful though not necessary. I both glued and screwed it as I quickly determined that once I screwed it together I would never be taking it apart. Just use a good wood glue that can be cleaned up with water and spread a small bead where the panels meet and you will have a very strong box.I got the largest size and I probably should have gotten the medium size as I am 5'10" and probably should use a 16" side for step ups.I will probably make one a size smaller this summer out of my own plywood to have and leave at the cottage and that project will tell me how good of a deal this box kit really is. However I like this kit, it is very solid with interlocking cad/cam cut panels that once glued and screwed together makes a very strong box that should last literally for decades.

Great worksmanship and quality but supply your own glue and screws
This is a robustly constructed box with nice finishing touches: the joints are tight, screw holes line up correctly, all edges are well sanded, the logo is nicely done (nice looking but not bright), each side is marked well to aid putting it together. I'm 200 lbs and this easily deals with my weight; no worries there (it has an internal support for extra security). The plywood is a good quality with no obvious voids or defects, and took ordinary Elmer's Wood Glue perfectly well. I have only two comments:First, this box is big. I'm big and am a former Div 1 athlete, so it works for me, but be aware it's huge. The dimensions are what they are but they might surprise you -- this is not the ordinary size of gym box. It does function nicely as a table and bench when you aren't working out.Second, it's supplied with screws and says that adding wood glue is optional. That's nuts on both counts. The supplied screws are drywall screws -- I almost downgraded it because of that. Drywall screws are suitable for drywall, only, and not for holding together a box you plan to stand on. If you are planning only to use the screws, do yourself a favor and use structural screws (for example, GRK 2" or 2.5" deck screws). If you plan to use wood glue, though, the drywall screws will really be just to clamp the wood together while the glue sets, and will be fine. I recommend using the wood glue regardless, but if you are using the supplied drywall screws then the glue becomes in my opinion a durability and safety imperative.

The standard for plyo boxes
This box comes with precision-cut sides and lots of screws. Once assembled, it’s sturdy, rugged, and aesthetically pleasing.REP makes great gear, and this box is no different. I’ve been using it daily for several months, and if it weren’t for the shoe prints on it, you’d never know it’s been used. The handles are cut and sanded, so it’s easy and comfortable to move or carry. This box is the standard to which all other boxes should be compared.
