I'm not an avid golfer, but my wife is a fanatic. This was a gift for her, she's quite picky, and she loves it!It's well made and has a classy understated real wood design. Very easy to set up. Concern before purchase was the putting surface, would it be lumpy or uneven? No, this one is great. Very smooth with no folds or bumps. The backing is a rubber-like surface that helps maintain a smooth surface (other models were lacking that). The holes are in 2 sizes, one smaller than other. Both are smaller than regulation golf hole, which is good... helps improve accuracy. The ball return works with gravity and works well, every time, keeping you focused on improving putting. I have enjoyed using it, even made a bit of a contest out of with with my wife.Great to improve your putting stroke and use on those rain out days.

Easy to setup and store. Looks great so you don’t mind leaving out. High quality thick mat for the putting green.

Easy to assemble. Ball returns only half way back. An uphill hole is not what golf greens are like. Still a good practice unit.

I had this stored in the garage for several weeks before Christmas. I set it up day after & was impressed by the very good quality. The mat is thick & smooth with no lumps or wrinkles. It is very functional in that the ball easily does return down the trough which is cleverly held together by magnets. I am using it indoors on top of our large flat area rug. We play mini-golf as often as the weather allows in central IL so am hoping to keep up my putting skills for the spring season. Ha!

Great gift! My boyfriend loves how versatile this is- he uses inside and outside the house. Great value! His favorite feature is that the ball is set up to be returned to the putting area with every swing.

Love it. Great quality product. The mat lays out very flat and the ball rolls straight as an arrow as long as your floor is perfectly level. I use it every day to take short breaks from my office.

First off, I'm a total beginning golfer. As in, I miniature golfed as a kid and then evolved to a birthday driving range trip to grip and rip some balls. Wanting to do more than just get blisters once-a-year, I've since purchased a set of starter clubs and am learning proper basics to practice at the range before adventuring to an actual course. This has left me wanting more time to work on my putting, as well as, taking care of that golf itch when I can't make it out. Enter the GimiYaa putting mat! Easy set-up with not much to it... A green carpet marked with foot increments, wooden ramp, two holes, return ramp held together by magnets, putter holder, and three golf balls. While I'm still new to finding my stance, distance, etc., this set has helped to give me something to focus on in addition to actual targets to visualize! As for the quality, I can't attest to how well it'll hold up in the long run, but if you don't bang it around, it should be fine for years. It is wood and wood dents if you hit it. But, wood can also be re-stained and glued should something go wrong. Regarding the ball return, it mostly works...at least on my few initial runs over carpet. The ball rolls back, but sometimes stops about 3/4 of the way; far enough though to tap the ball with my putter to get it the rest of the way. I'm using it in an apartment over carpet so that may shift the return track a little bit, but nothing that I would complain about. Compared to that "other" big-name-sponsored practice mat costing more, I doubt there's much difference, but can't say for sure; that's up to you. For me, again as a beginner, I've been able to practice my putting...indoors...while watching the Golf channel...and feeling like I'm part of the greater golfing world, even though I still have next to no clue what I'm doing! Yes, there are other indoor putting sets. But, this is the one that I purchased, use, and am happy with.
