I like the boots, the fit and feel is good, the tread is nice.The problem I have with the boots is when I try to remove them. After a long day in warm weather it is hard to get them off. It does not matter what type of sock I have on, my feet get stuck in the boot. It is almost like a moisture lock. The lining with ride up and bind my foot, sometime I can twist sideways and pull, other times I must force a pen or something down to break the seal. In then the lining rides up and sometimes the plastic brace in the heel gets bent out of place.Also, there is no finger loop in the top.of the boot to help pull it on.Update * * * After even more time in this boots the problem is even worst. It is a struggle to get them off daily. Twisting them does not work a lot of the time now. Changed from 3 Stars to 1 ! Do not waste your money!

We uses these boots to walk on steep pitch metal roofs grips great . Fits a little tight but thats what we want when we are up there, we always used a rocky outback or cornstalker until they changed the type of sole and couldn't grip anymore . These work great for our needs

The ankle support is very thick and tight. I am going to order one size smaller because they are a little too long. The support on the bottom feels good

I am a career security guard and volunteer firefighter. Worn these boots for years standing and walking for 12 to 14 hours at times. There are boots that are better for standing for hours but nothing better if you need to move quickly, with the best ankle support, and running grip.
