Perfect - Easy to install, well designed, correct brightness
These are an elegant solution for an amazing price.Pros:Easy to install - comes with a 1" paddle bit, snug fit in the hole so can be installed on the decking (floor) or under a rail and you will not have an issue of the lights slipping out of the hole. Each light can be attached individually. I purchased two sets and easily combined the two - no splicing wires, just simple plug and play. If one light does burn out, replacement will be super easy.I placed the lights on the outside edge of the floor of my deck spaced about 2.5 feet apart, total of twelve lights. My deck is 16' x 18' and this orientation provides adequate lighting for great ambiance and 'look'.The lights are not too bright - just right, actually. I would say that someone looking to host dinner parties on a deck will need actual lighting - these are clearly for subtle accent lighting only.Cons:The only thing I would say is the need for a timer is obvious - but I can' really complain about that. For the price you get a simple 110 plug (that converts to the low voltage necessary), a light sensor, a drill bit and the lights. Without the timer you do leave the lights on all night - it would be nice to have built in, but for the price that is a non-issue for me.I'll be buying another set as backup for any that burn out. Highly recommended!

DO NOT BUY!!!
DO NOT BUY!!! I have ordered 4 sets of these lights. I have had to replace them on a regular basis. I had my deck made to specifically fit these lights. Now I must continue buying them to replace the ones that go out continuously. They say weather proof. They are not weather proof at all. The top part of the light (stainless steel bezel) eventually comes off. The glue that holds them together is faulty. You may get one year out of them at most. Unfortunately, the holes I have in my deck are made for theses lights since they come with a drill bit made for the exact diameter of the light base.I live in San Diego which has the best weather in the US. There has been no exposure to direct sun, and of course very little exposure to rain; since I do live in San Diego. I cannot say enough about how poor the quality is of these lights. If anyone knows of a replacement light that will fit the dimensions of these lights please advise me.

These LED lights don't last very long.
If you buy this LED light kit to install on deck or patio, just be prepared to start replacing them after 6 months.I bought 2 boxes of these LED light kit. They looked great on my patio. But within six months, one started getting very dim, and then completely went off after a couple more days. Roughly 6 of my 12 lights died this way within 12 months. I had them turned on for only a few hours per each night (<6 hrs). That make the average life span for this LED light to be about 2200 hrs or less. This is LED type, and I expected them to have much longer life span than traditional incandescent or fluorescent type bulbs. I'm disappointed that this isn't the case with this Paradise LED light. The size and brightness are pretty good though. But you will need to have lots of spares, and be ready to replace them every few months.

Cool but had 2 lights 'burn' out
I bought 2 strands of these to link together to put into a deck. After 8 months of use, 2 of the lights work only intermittently-probably 70% of the time they do not turn on but 30% they magically work, they are on the same strand and I plan to contact customer service to see about replacing the one strand. Besides that, look good, easy to put in, all around solid, if they hadn't quit working.

Perfect for my needs and would buy again!
There are many reviews that comment about the size of the lights, etc. but these may not work for everyone's needs. As background before stating my pros and cons, I needed some lighting below the front porch area and was very tired of replacing the 7w bulbs and fixtures of the standard low-voltage lighting systems. I was interested in switching to LED units, but the cost of two flush-mount deck LED fixtures cost more than this set of 6 without even considering the adapter and photocell, so I decided to try them. I have also attached a photo from my camera-phone so you can see how these actually look and this relates to some of my comments below.I wanted to use my existing wiring and not the supplied AC adapter and photo-cell, so I cannot comment on the quality or longevity of these parts. I did, however, plug everything in when I first unboxed the set just to be sure that all of the lights worked, which they did. After that, I measured for placement and drilled the holes with the included drill bit, slipped the fixtures into the holes and then retested them to be sure everything still worked fine. It did, so the next step was to cut the wire to the photo-cell and splice it to my low-voltage line from the Malibu transformer. The wire on these units is quite thin, so you do need to be a little careful when you strip the wire to not cut the copper itself. But once spliced, I put the transformer in the test mode and, voila, everything worked perfectly! So far, so good.So what are my cons?1. For those that have said these are not bright, maybe they are hooked up to a DC line which would then only light half of the LEDs. These suckers are bright! My wife commented that walking back to the home at night looked like runway lighting! No question where you were supposed to go!2. These are WHITE! They are not the yellow of a normal low-voltage unit (or even some other LED units I have used). If you look at the photo that I posted, the difference is obvious - the lighting below the tree to the right is standard low-voltage halogen. I have not yet played with this, but I think this can be 'tamed' by using some light transparent paint or marker to shift the color to a bit more yellow. I do plan to play with this and will update the review once I do.Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase. Compared to buying other LED low-voltage fixtures, this is a bargain, even if you don't use the AC Adapter or photo sensor like me. Installation was simple, the connections between lights is far better than most low-voltage connections and they have a very small, clean look during the day when not on. In fact, you almost don't notice them during the day. If I have to replace one or two of the units a year, it will still probably wind up being as cheap as all of the fixture and bulb replacements I have done with normal low-voltage units, so the only thing left for me to play with is the color and I think that is easily solved. No hesitation in recommending this purchase!
