worth the extra cost
Noctua is a high quality fan and worth the extra cost to protect precious components. The best packaging and included accessories of any fan. All materials are top notch and fit and finish is perfect. Fans and well engineered for optimal air flow with minimum noise. Perfect for low noise operations like a desktop computer, home theatre PC or for what i use this for - helmet cooling. i connect this to a 5 volt USB power pack and install this in my helmet. The airflow is good and its nice and quiet so i can hear outside noises. Highly recommended.

For Raspberry Pi 4, the 12v is quieter
This is my 2nd 60mm Noctua Fan for my Raspberry Pi 4. I got a 12v and now I tried this 5v version.Using the 12v fan on 5v power is much quieter than using the 5v fan on 5v power. Maybe I’m stating the obvious. I much prefer the 12v fan as it was almost silent.I removed the 3 wires, rearranged the red and black to suit the Rpi4 and trimmed the two plastic tabs on the molex connector that were bumping into the Rpi 4 GPIO pins. I folded back the yellow wire and taped it to the cable sheath.

Works great on my Valve Index VR headset
This fan works great to add cooling to my Valve Index VR headset. I used the bare wire adapter to add a USB plug to it (even comes with no solder wire clips), 3D printed a bracket and fan guard, and just used the anti vibration attachments to hook it to the bracket.Make sure you put a fan guard to protect the blades from your battles!

It's a Noctua
Good air flow volume to noise ratio, has been running 24/7 since I got it, and you got to love that beige and brown styling that screams 1970's styling.

Nice and quiet
I love how quiet noctua fans are! Lots of air movement, not much noise.
