Good chip on his shoulder.
Bought this for my father who is always pruning his trees. He loves it and uses it when needed.

Stay small
This is great small diameter chipper. Any thing over 2 inches in diameter is a push. Green branches work best and don’t over feed. Works great , starts easy and made the wife very happy with the new mulch in the green house. Worth the price

I Bought it so you don't have to. DO NOT BUY!!!!!
Bought this to help clear the yard after a storm. Two months later, I still haven't been able to use it. Engine ran for less than a minute before losing compression and shutting off.Upon inspection, the intake valves are grounded off center so the seat of the valve is not centered with the valve stem.As a result, intake valve leaks and engine has virtually no compression and engine won't run.I've worked with the supplier for the past two months who sent a few replacement engine parts. Parts didn't know work.Supplier finally sent a replacement engine. New replacement has the same issue, low compression and engine doesn't work.Got fed up with this low quality engine and decided to buy a new engine locally. However, this engine has a 25mm shaft so no off the shelf engines fit as 3/4" (19mm) is too small and the 1" shaft engines are too large.Worst purchase ever. Quality is a joke.Customer service dept is responsive, but replacement parts are just as bad as the original ones so there's no way to get this device running. No aftermarket support for this engine either so I'm stuck.Save the money, save the hassle and do not buy this chipper or anything with this engine. You've been warned

Nice little chipper
I do like this little chipper. It has eaten three trees worth of branches so far. Probably 50 or 60 hours on it now. It won’t disappoint on fresh cut branches. Old dried up stuff makes it work a lot harder but it will do it with freshly sharpened blades. For the price , this is great. I have fresh mulch for ever now. Love it. So does my garden

Not worth the trouble
very cheap. got jammed on a branch not over 1 1/2" thick and really seemed to struggle with anything over 1 " really. the feeder is very narrow so there's not much room. anything with a branch or 'y' in it will not go through. Its ideal for chopping up the straightest branches only 1" or less. Thats about what I've learned to expect from a cheap wood chipper. I thought I'd have an endless supply of "free" mulch? Well, not so much. It's made in China and that really shows. Using fresh gas, I've had to keep the choke on about 1/3 to keep it running. Yes, I put oil in it. Now I have to take it apart to get the jam out. I took a chance on a cheap chipper and got burned. Oh well. Thats gardening for ya! Im going to go back to the burn pile and order mulch in bulk. At least that way I will be supporting the local economy. Thats what I get!

Super handy chipper
I love this machine. Plenty of power shreds with ease. One pull start. Doesn't clog. Easy handling. Good on gas.

It's smaller than I thought
It was a bit of a pain to put together. The use of earplugs is highly recommended. Be sure to stand to the side when loading it. Overall I'm satisfied with the machine

If you try this chipper, you won't buy it!
WAY TOO LOUD, does not self-feed, you must force limbs into the machine and push very hard, even small branches must be forced into the feed opening. The vibrations through the limbs into your hands makes your hands numb, even wearing the very heavy leather work gloves does not prevent this danger of nerve damage. When the machine gets clogged up with branches that don't get chipped up, it's a job to dissemble the feed funnel attachment assembly. After this happens a couple times it's obvious the machine was not designed to make this repeat problem manageable. Very sad that the designer is not forced to use the product prior to selling thousands of these units. We are such gullible customers and accept this junk because it's the only entry level priced chipper and we figure all the big stores sell the same unit so it must be ok. I made this mistake. A real chipper costs three times what this cost! Don' say you weren't warned. I don't expect this review to stand but if it does YEA AMAZON!!
