Depending on the washer you own it can be tedious but definitely worth it. The hard part is getting to the part and putting the washer back together. Replacing the part itself took 2 screws and 2 twist-ties. Total time was about an hour and I had a working washer. To call a repair man would have been days to weeks of waiting plus the add expense of a laundromat. This was much cheaper and faster. Google and YouTube are your friends!
