Comfortable shoe that's similar to the old Vans!
Decent and comfortable shoes. They're similar to the old Vans in shape and size, although they do come up a little smaller than usual. So if you're on the border of your size definitely go up by a half or full size. They're a kind of matt suede and are great if you don't want bling "look at me shoes"They've held up nicely in the few months they've been used, including being caught in a shower a few times. I'll update if they start wearing prematurely.Overall comfortable and nice looking shoe. Great for anyone who misses the old Vans!

Awful
Very disappointed. Two months after buying these there are holes in the centre of both heels, its almost as if the structure has collapsed. My son rarely moves at anything faster than moderate walking pace. The uppers are fine but I can only describe the heels as awful. Pity as he says they are comfortable. I very rarely give bad reviews but this time I must.

Good value classic skate shoe
Having previously worn a few different brands of skate shoes, and other Etnies styles I wasn't really sure what to expect from Kingpin's.The muted black on black colourway works well, the sole is comfortably cushioned, and the tongue and ankle well padded.Unlike Faders or Lo-cuts, these seem to have less height in the toe box, and have a seam running the full width across it, so until you break these in it is worth wearing good socks, but once you do these are comfortable, keep your feet securely in place, and muted enough to wear in the office without obviously looking like you're wearing trainers (result!)

Best shoe I've ever owned!
I purchased these in June 2016, it's now November 2018 and I'm still using these shoes, it's not that I haven't used them either, they are the shoes I use for walking to work and back (5 mile round trip). They are extremely comfortable and I have never regretted buying these, I was going through my order history looking for something I wanted to re-order and noticed these. As they are still available I have added another pair to my basket even though my existing pair is in good condition.I should probably add that I have quite wide feet and many size 10s are too narrow for me but these are perfect. If you are a size 10 with wide feet like me then order yourself a pair before I buy them all.

Casual skaters trainer
This was the 3rd pair of the same model after leaving Vans behind for dropping one model I loved. The shoes are super comfortable. But the kicker is that even without doing much these can degrade fairly quickly. Within a couple of month the heel guard start to wear out and within 12 month the sole will be too. And due to price inflation (my first pair was 35 quid) it is getting harder and harder to justify buying a new pair every year (without even starting to go into the stupidity of the environmental impact manufacturing those can cause).
