Business Adventures by John Brooks is an outstanding book. I read it for no better reason than Bill Gates said that it was his favourite business book.It was a pleasure reading the book. It comprises a number of stories that focus on a wide gamut of areas e.g., anti-trust, currency, insider trading, launching a new product, stock market volatility, etc. What makes the book great to read are:1. One reads real stories. Issues come out as the story progresses2. The depth and width of the issues is outstanding3. The author has tremendous insights into the business4. The stories are easy to read and comprehendThough the stories are old, but they continue to be relevant. As the author says, the behaviour of humans in stock markets was similar in the 17th century also....................

Great book and great stories
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and it has such great stories and insights. A bit dated to be read now especially stories on xerox and some other stories but it does take you back in time.Best stories are on the devaluation of pound sterling and Edsel.

Good
The book is pretty good but if you are anywhere below the age of 30, you might not understand the old English used in the book. Other than that it is a great book
