AmbertaWomen 925 Sterling Silver 2.3 mm Rhombus Curb Chain Necklace

I bought this for my daughter who lives in Spain . It was to replace a broken chain on her St Christopher which I given her when she set off to live in Spain , with just her rucksack , almost 2 years ago . she was very nervous then and I thought wearing her St Christopher would give her help with her confidence on her travels .I sent it out as a Christmas present , unfortunately after Christmas due to covid flight changes , but she was thrilled to receive it ..... only to have it break on the second day she wore it . It is apparently the connector link by the clasp , not the chain itself , but even so ,it is now useless ... she was upset , and I was a bit cross . Her medallion is only small , and weighs virtually nothing So, . due to her not living in UK , I cannot return it for another , or a refund . Not happy .

I wore this necklace for a few days but it tarnished heavily (ugly dark black) only in the area most in contact with the skin (around the neck).Annoyingly, because of the more intricate design of the links, it is impossible to return it back to it's original colour using commercial silver polish, making it too ugly to wear again.Very hard to maintain and definitely not something that can be worn day to day.It was very pretty when first received and it probably is silver, though the clasp was tested to be magnetic.If the seller has any advice on how to clean or polish it properly, I would appreciate this, and I will review my score -- otherwise my score stays as it is, and buyers should be mindful of it's very short usefulness as a necklace.

O have given this chain one star because it arrived on time and I can't give it any less than that. I bought it to use with a very precious pendant which had been my mum's but the very first time I put it on this evening the chain broke and if it hadn't been for the fact I hadn't left the house yet i would have lost my mum's pendant. I miss my mum dearly and if I'd lost her necklace I'd be devastated. I'm so disappointed as the chain looks so pretty but it's so delicate i can't fix it

I bought 2 of these for gifts....not too thin...thick enough to stand the test of time hopefully...its very polished silver and looks really bright...good value for money
