No, it doesn't nick!!
I had narrowed down my choices to Manscape 4.0 and Meridian. Manscape turned out to be too expensive due to shipping charges as they don't have a distributor in India. So decided to go for Merdian.Was very apprehensive about purchasing this trimmer after I read most of the reviews. However, I took a chance and ordered it through the Meridian India website, and I do not regret the purchase.I was using the Braun Cruzer before this and trust me, I have had my fair share of nicks in the scrotal area. But Meridian is different. Contrary to the reviews, it was a very smooth experience and at no point did I feel that the blades would hurt sensitive areas. The battery life is excellent and it charges within two hours.Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

Great product
Works very smoothly and fast, but that doesnt mean you can take it for granted. You can get a nick on sensitive folds of your skin if you aren't a wee bit careful.

Doesn't seem a genuine product
If you check with Meridian website you will find clearly difference between this product send and the one shown on Website, specially the back side of the trimmer.

Still pinches and cuts , you need to be very careful with it when trimming downtown.

The unique usb charging wire is faulty
They sent a faulty charging wire which has basically made the entire trimmer not usable after the first round. No place to reach out for support!! The trimmer is good but the quality is not reliable

Poor Customer Service
The product came fine and it went dead in just 3 months of usage, tried reaching out Amazon Customer Support they requested to contact Meridian Grooming, Meridian grooming said contact Amazon they will assist you, and it has been more than a month and 20 days still issue hasn't been resolved, If you are willing to make the purchase i'ld suggest go for Phillips rather than this product as Customer Service is not provided by either Amazon or MeridianGrooming, Buy at your own risk!

Bad product. Sub standard tech. Does not deliver on advertising promise
The product is absolute waste of money. It does not deliver on any of the features that it shows the advertising. The experience is painful and leaves the skin scarred.
