These Anthem shorts are the perfect workout short material: soft, light, flowy, and stretchy. The appearance is attractive. Pockets are zippered and big enough for a phone, though it may bounce around in there because of the baggy fit and light material. They are also very roomy with wide leg openings for someone who has big thighs. I LOVE the comfort of the waistband: it is snug but doesn't get uncomfortable after hours of wear. If there were one thing I wished they offered it would be a slim leg option. These shorts would look amazing in a slimmer cut.

I really like the look and fit of these shorts. I also like the zipper pockets so they're not hanging open getting caught on stuff. They cost a little more but are woth it.

Like the zippered pockets for keeping belongings secure. Much better than the side pockets in the "compression" lining of some other brands. That said, since the pockets don't fit as close to the legs heavier items like a phone may move around a bit more than you might like when running but only a minor distraction. No problems so far with quality or durability of structure after several months of use. Inseam and leg length is long enough so that it doesn't bunch up much in the crotch. Overall fit works well. No real complaints.
