Hours of Family Fun
If enjoy wonderfully crafter role playing games that entertain across all ages and bring friends and families together then I cannot recommend the series highly enough. They really are a big hit with everyone here having instantly transformed unhappy, squabbling, bored kids (including the grown up ones) into happy ones and so made my life easier. Enough said 😊

Quality is poor
This is my 2nd order of these books (Bought 4) I can't believe how warped they are. Also one was damaged as seen in photo. I don't know whether to return them, as it looks like this is the quality of the paper/print process, rather than anything else. I certainly feel they should be better quality for the price. The only reason I'm going to persevere is because of the positive reviews on the quality of the content. Having watched some videos I'm sure I would enjoy the game side of things. This review is for the quality of the books themselves. Not the content.

A Wonderful Story Telling Role Playing Game
As a family we've been in love with The Storymaster's Tales and Weirding Woods for a couple of years. This latest version of the game will serve us as a travel version of our favourite game, but this one book is literally everything you need to play the game. For those who have not come across this title before it has brought adventure and laughter to three generations of our family. It has a rare quality to allow us all to play and enjoy it together. The fairytale and mythology inspired world is wondrous enough to want to visit it, while threat levels and scares are not such as to upset young children nor bore the adults. The quests are exciting, the encounters are entertaining and a healthy dose of humour is woven in too.Whether you play as a witch, a huntsman, a pirate, a princess, a lost child or something else, this game is an immersive way to spend an hour or two with friends and family of any generation. For a boxed game to be transformed into a single book and genuinely be able to say you don't need anything else but a pencil is incredibly clever and resourceful. For our family it is an excellent way to take Weirding Woods on holiday without worrying about losing pieces, for new players it provides an excellent value for money way to experience this charming game.Anyone thinking about it, should take the plunge and give it a go. It's enormous fun!

Fantastic game book for all ages.
Randomly stumbled across this book and being a fan of fighting fantasy/choose your own adventure style books I thought I’d give it a chance. Well I’m glad I did as this is fantastic. You can read it solo and play through the book like any other type of game book or play with others (I played alongside my five year old son)You pick a character then a quest and start reading (or use the QR code to hear audio narration for each area, which is pretty awesome in itself)Then as you’d expect choose your options from the ones given and read the outcome, then travel to a new location on the map. Collecting item/rewards and fighting monsters along your travels with the ultimate goal of completing your initial quest.Really can’t say enough good things about this. To top it off the art work is also very nice and has that old school game book feeling to it. Will certainly be coming back to buy others in the series after I’ve played through the quests this one has to offer.

Great family fun
This popped up as a random Amazon advert on Facebook and the art work on the cover caught my eye and made me click to see what it could be.Having read the write up and further Google-Fu web searching to find out more I discovered that this could be something truly entertaining for me and the kids to get in to during the summer holidays. It has not let us down in anyway, the story is well crafted and the fact that you can QR scan the pages for the story to be read out and atmospheric music played as you decide what to do makes this really stand out.It truly is something that you should add to your basket if you want some engaging family fun. It is also expanding with further stories being added to the collection too.

A perfect RPG games for all levels and ages - family fun!
As a fan of D&D I was looking for something to gently introduce my children to RPG. I have a son 13 and daughters age 11 & 9.Storymaster was perfect. So easy to pick up and understand immediately. BAGS of fun and such colourful descriptive characters, storylines and landscapes. We were all hooked! It is also easy enough to fit in around hectic lives - you can play 30 mins as a wind down on an evening or longer when you have the time. I will definitely be looking to purchase more. Can't recommend enough.

Fun for all the family
Easy to learn to play. Brilliant introduction to role playing adventure gaming for all the family. Interesting quests and amusing interactions with characters. Where the game comes into its own is how you can easily combine it with the other expansion decks to make longer, more challenging quests and adapt for your own quest storyline too. Beautifully illustrated as well.
