Best purchase yet. I've tried everything on my heavy pulling golden lab cross. ( he's about 70 pounds and growing) After a few short minutes of him figuring out to stop pulling ( to release the pressure) he walked beside me with ease. Highly recommend, and am considering purchasing another one as back up.

I have had whippets years ago and none pulled on the lead, always walked by my side. Along came whippet pup Nellie and after 3 years of bad pulling, I went for this figure 8 anti pull lead. After trying all other anti pull devices with very little success, this is a total 100% game changer. She has short hair and I was a bit apprehensive that it might hurt around her face. After about 3 minutes of rebelling against it and trying to get it off, the difference in walking her was massive, totally unbelievable. She walked without any pulling whatsoever and accepted it. I removed the stupid little ring and it stays firmly on without being overtight. I purchased the blue one which is nice and soft but strong. Anyone who has a puller, you must try this. Hope this review is of some help.

I have been unable to take out my nervous german shepard, when she thinks there is a threat she will go on her hind legs and pull so hard it was painful, crossing backwards and forwards in front of me and my wife cant walk the dog as the dog pulls so much, I found the product by chance after noticing and enquiring with another dog owner, because of the price I didn't have much hopes for it but thought I would give it a go, and I am glad I did, when I first put on the lead my dog I noticed that she was quite calm the complete opposite of what I have been used too, when I took her out of the front door she went to pull and once again go on her hind legs but she didn't, I could not believe it, I continued to walk the dog and in all honesty it was like I was walking a well trained and healed dog, it was pleasant, enjoyable, and my shoulder didn't feel as if it had been pulled out of the socket. Now there is a learning curve with this lead, you have to make the loop bigger to put over the dogs neck, more than usual then figure of 8 over the snout and then adjust the rubber stay on the lead, how you put on this lead will determine which side the dog walks on so if you like left then the lead should be on right side of the dog. I did upgrade the clip that attaches to the dogs existing collar because she is 25kg+ as an extra safety measure, but once on I feel very confident and relaxed taking my dog for a walk, if your dog does have a slight line over the muzzle don't worry that means that the figure of 8 needs a little bit more slack. All in all really glad I got this I am able to walk my dog like a normal person its great. This will not impede your dog from eating, drinking, panting or barking. Just buy it if your shoulder normally aches.
