This leg bag holder with a waistband is way more effective than the leg sleeves that attempt to defy gravity (and slide down). This leg sleeve is made of a stretchy fabric, with velcro openings on the side of the pocket to easily place the bag, and a smaller velcro opening in the center of the pocket at the bottom for ease of access to the emptying port. The bottom of the leg sleeve has an elastic band for additional security. The leg sleeve is soft and comfortable and a 600 ml bag fits well. There are small loops on either side of the pocket to hold the catheter tube, but this only is useful for a foley or condem catheter. The only way for a suprapubic tube catheter is for the tube to go up and over the waistband, and we all know liquid doesn't drain up. This can be fixed by cutting a small hole above the pocket for the tube to go through. The other issue is, only the back part of the waistband is stretchy velcro. The part where the leg band attaches and the front band don't stretch at all. The waistband isn't long enough for bigger bodies, but a short length of double-sided 2" velcro from a fabric store solved this problem. What a relief to have the freedom to walk without worrying about anything falling down! Would buy again.

This catheter bag holder is way too small for an adult. I couldn't even get it on. Also it didn't have a belt to put around the middle.

This bag was large enough for my husband's waist. It came with an good strap which held it in place. I really like it because when my husband first got his foley he used to walk on his bag. as it slipped below his pants. It is also washable.

This was the best design I’ve found. Now if it only came in a larger waist size and had loops at the bottom edge . . .
