Fantastic strain relief and tab protector
These work really well and are easy to install. I have cut the ends off several cables to add these on after the fact because they're so nice.

Sweet boots and perfect fit
I bought these to go with my "Sabra Technologies Shielded rj45 cat6 cat 6a connectors Gold Plated Cat6 Pass Through Connectors 23awg Cat6 Shielded Cat6/Cat6a Modular Plugs Ethernet Ends". They are made from a nice flexible material, it is a perfect fit, and it looks professional. They fit multiple size cable by way of the tail getting smaller in diameter as it gets further from the head, so you just trim a bit off the end if you are running phat cable.

Not compatible with shielded plugs, nor trueCable passthru
Despite the product description, this does not fit on shielded cat6 connectors, won't fit past the metal crimp. Which is too bad because they look and feel good, and cut to fit is a great idea!Particularly irritating, trueCable's cat6 shielded pass thru doesn't have the plastic in the connector that crimps down to hold these strain reliefs in place

Works great.
I used this on my cat6 cables and it works great. Easy to use. I never had to customize it, but you can off pieces for thicker and thicker cables.

Oh, what a relief it is! Read to learn the trick to a successful install
These do a good job of protecting those pesky clips on the end of Ethernet jacks. Although the instructions say you can size the boot to fit any cable by trimming off some of the boot's end, I found that unnecessary. These strain reliefs slipped right over newer 23 AWG Cat 6E cable I just ran, as well as the already-in-place Cat 5E (AWG unknown) without any trimming. I made a stupid user error and tried to slide the boot over the Ethernet jack after crimping it. Wrong! You actually must slide it over the Ethernet jack and then insert the PAIR into the crimping tool. When you mash it together into a crimper it looks like you will surely break the boot, but it is actually flexible enough to spring back into shape after crimping.

Perfect fit for flexible 24AWG cable and Pass Through RJ45 connectors
These are not compatible with every kind of RJ45 connector. I was able to use them with ANPKEC brand Pass Through Connectors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW8HPPMQ perfectly fine, and they fit 24AWG flexible cable without having to be cut shorter. They are incompatible with "Ideal 85-372J" connectors. Keep an eye out for the arch inside the rear where the cable inserts, on the retention tab side (top?) of the connector; these type are generally NOT compatible. If it's rectangular in the rear, you're probably in the clear. Also of note, you must have these boots inside the RJ45 during crimping, as the retention mechanism is the cable-locking tab at the rear of the RJ45 itself. This can be quite challenging to hold everything in place while squeezing the crimp tool if you don't have Pass Through-style RJ45 connectors, but it can be done with enough dexterity. Good luck with it!
