OPI Nail Polish, DTLA Collection, Infinite Shine Nail Polish

It's the perfect dark denim blue that I was looking for. Doesn't chip easily, looks good for days on end.

I chose this nail colour as a match for a dress. It is a great shade of blue.

I love the colour! Quite how they came up with the name ‘Angels Flight To Starry Nights’ I can’t imagine, not that it matters.OPI varnishes are undoubtedly high-quality. This wears well without chipping easily. A single coat is enough, at a pinch, if you’re short of time, and you’re certainly unlikely to want more than two. I used a base coat and two of varnish, but no top coat because I wanted to see how well it wore without. The answer is that it survived a gardening session, mainly without gloves, which is pretty impressive.Unfortunately, I found it slightly tricky to apply. The brush is round and doesn’t splay as much as flat ones. I needed more strokes of the brush than usual on each nail, and getting into the edges of nails without applying varnish to adjacent skin can be a little tricky.The varnish dries very quickly, which is great, but you do have to work fast to make sure overlapping strokes merge neatly. If you’re slow, you can finish up with ridges at the overlaps.Maybe I’m just incompetent, but I’d suggest giving the brush a try before buying, to see how you get on with it. The varnish itself is certainly first-rate though (as it should be for £15.50).

I’ve bought more than 20 opi nail polishes in the past years and all of them never seem to disappoint but when I used this it seemed to dry less quick and it’s very thick on my nails, I even wipe the edges of the brush in the bottle so it’s an even coat but it still isn’t as good as the others I’ve had. But it’s a lovely colour it just didn’t go on smoothly. You could say ;).
