Assembly and use directions are very unclear. But I eventually figured it out and this is the easiest siphon I have used!I have a 15 gal planted tank with a lot of nooks and crannies. I used this to get into all the little spots. It worked perfectly. I am glad that the siphon came with a little filter cap on the end. I was afraid of sucking up a little shrimp by accident. But the filter tip made that impossible!

Mi unica observación es que compre 2 uno venia con tubo de silicon y otro con tubo de plastico, ambos funciona pero el de silicon es mas practico por que el tubo es mas felxible y se extiende solo y el de plastico se mantine curvo.Por lo demas se me hace excelente

Would have expected this to last longer than a single use for the price. Doesn’t syphon anything. Disappointed.

I don’t do huge water changes in my tanks, usually just clean detritus and top off. This is perfect for cleaning debris and waste because the tubing is thin so it takes a minimal amount of water with the waste you suck up. It has a few different attachments and extensions for different sized tanks. It does feel a little wobbly maybe when fully extended but it’s like $15 and sucks up fish poop. I don’t think it needs to be flawless lol. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and have no real complaints.

This does not work for fine sand and gravel in the main tank. All my sand was sucked up and away. If you have coarse gravel it would be fine. I like it for the head to reach crevices, and the area containing the pump and filters, where the classic suction vacuums can’t fit. It is nice to have the bulb to start the suction.
