The cleaning items are very sturdy, The stand base where it bolts in is very thin and can break easily. I recommend putting a large washer to reenforce the wood.

My daughter absolutely loves this toy cleaning set! All items came neatly boxed and ready to assemble. Assembling the items was very easy and quick. Each item is very easy to keep clean as well! Sits nicely in a corner

After friends owning the Melissa and Doug original, this is basically the same quality for a much better price!

I bought this set for my son who loves brooms! It's a great little set and I enjoy that it is wood and not cheap plastic. The only issue was my son immediately broke the stand, and stripped the screw out through the bottom plate. I think I may be able to fix it with extra parts I'll need to buy. Obviously this was due to my son being rough with it, but how the wood broke off looks like that spot was like particle board. Also the larger pieces screw together and they easily come unscrewed. Other than that a great little play set.

Bought more than a year ago and it still hasn't broken and my kids still love to play with it and help clean.

This is one of the most disappointing pieces of junk I've purchased in a while. To attach the base to the pole, you have to out a screw in from the bottom of the base but there is no beveling for the screw so the stand can't sit flat on the ground. The pole is assembled by screwing two pieces together, but within a week the two pieces had come part so many times that the wood is striped and the two pieces don't stay together anymore. Now the broom head has detached from its handle. Skip this one.

Great size for a toddler. Exactly what I needed to keep her out of the real ones
