We added this set after using our first one for more than 10 years. Sadly I ran over the fiberglass handle of our first rake, and so the new purchase. I rake leaves, grass, pebbles, and other debris on a consistent basis and the rake is efficient, durable, and light. The new handles were a bit short for me so we extended them with a sleeve of PVC pipe. It is also nice to have a couple of sizes for large areas and tight spaces. If you want a well-designed and durable rake that should serve you for years without trouble, buy.

Very good rake. I use it for almost every lawn project.

The handles are cheap, other than that good tool

The rake pulls up thatch and dead grass easily. Handle needs to be longer and thicker.

The rake its self is high quality and works far better than a standard leaf rake. The handle, however, is wood and is not designed for heavy usage, I expect it to break.The most important part last: This is a false/fraudulent product description. The 9" rake was not included. I ordered two, returning the first one thinking it was a mistake. However, the second also did not include the 9" rake. Basically, this vendor is either lying or shipping the wrong product.

The handle has several issues:First, the drilled hole was too high with respect to the head. I could not insert the bolt. I had to get out my rasp and file down the handle to assemble. That’s one de-merit.Second, the handle diameter is much smaller than the hole of the time head. The result is that the rake wobbles when trying to rake the ground. second de-merit. see attached picture.Third, the handle is very short. I am not a tall guy (5 ft,10 inches), but it’s way too short for comfort. see attached comparison picture. third de-merit.Fourth, i got this to replace a broken ‘dollar store’ rake for pine needles. It clogs up with pine needles just as fast as a cheap rake.. fourth de- merit. It may be hard to tell n my picture, but i am holding the rake 1 foot off the ground and it’s stuffed with pine needles. If you have pine trees in your yard and we’re hoping for a clog-free rake, you will be disappointed. The good news it’s not worse than a $10 dollar store rake and takes seconds to clear. Still, for the price, I had hoped for more.Positives : if you replace the handle, this would be a great rake. But that handle … total joke. It ruins all the positive things i would have said about this product otherwise. To be sure, it does a great job on the lawn. Or it would if it had a real handle.

The rake is beautiful..... i love the way it works. I have no issues with the rake, it really grabs what you want and leaves (the grass) what you need. The only huge annoying issue is the super cheap poor quality pole. To start with the pole isn't even the right size. I have no idea how they can sell a product that requires you to modify it right out of the box. If you use the pole as is, it wobbles so so much, that you have to wrap tape around the tip that you insert into the rake in-order to stabilize it. Then I had 2 other issues...... the pole is too freaking short that you find yourself bent over and it feel like its about to break. They used to sell a 55 inch pole but to save on shipping and keeping it from being an oversize box, its too short. The wood is so cheap you can see it already starting to crack open. After using it for a few minutes I had no choice but to go to the store and buy 2 new standard poles. That took care of of everything. I believe you can buy just the heads from the company. I suggest don't waste time ordering the whole thing. Order the head/s and go buy a proper pole.
