Does the item work?
I used this antenna to get a good line of sight of my wi-fi signal. It worked.The spec says it has a gain of 6dbi, which I assume is a gain of 6db over an isotropicantenna. I did a crude check with the tiny signal wi-fi bar graph you get with a tablet.I couldn't really see any difference.

My WiFi actually got worse when I connected this instead of the standard antenna supplied with my system

Just don't bother
Mounted on summerhouse to give better wifi in garden - it makes it worse! The antenna on wifi unit inside a cupboard which is inside summerhouse does a better job. Very disappionted with item on plus side is very descret even though it makes no difference. Waste of money.

It worsened the signal for me. Worse quality and way cheaper antenna I had before performed better than this one.
