They are not fully surgical steel. The posts have nickel in them. They blew up my ears like baby balloons.

I like to keep simple small hoops in my ears because, even though I got them double-pierced DECADES ago, the holes want to close for some reason. I didn't expect much for the price, but wow, I'd buy these again: I'm surprised at the quality level of this triple set of earrings. They're thick and substantial, not weak little wires. They're also very easy to open & close unlike many simple hoops. They're comfortable enough to sleep in; I forget about them. In my photo I am wearing the largest and smallest sets. Almost considering getting a 3rd piercing so I can wear the all 3 sets, not even joking! I usually blow off reviewing things but these deserve accolades! Thank you!

I highly recommend this product! It includes three pairs of earrings, one pair of small, one pair of medium, and one pair of large. Excellent finish, sturdy construction, and they click into place when closed so you know for sure that they've latched. I have arthritis and have trouble with my hands, but these were very easy to put in and latch. If I need to, I'll buy these again in the future, and would definitely buy them as a gift for others. They come sealed in a plastic bag, but also inside a black velveteen jewel pouch. 10/10, no disappointments.

Lots of difference between sizes gives plenty of combo options

I don't know what these are made of, but it is NOT surgical steel. I soaked all the earrings in alcohol for 2 hours prior to wearing and within 3 hours of wearing 6 of the 8 in the package my earholes were bright red, ached, and oozing fluid. I have always been able to were sterling silver and surgical steel. I am allergic to nickle so maybe they cheeped out in production. DON'T BUY THESE IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO METALS!If you are not sensitive, then these are good. nice heavy hoops. The construction was good as far as I can tell.
