Grip-Lite Longarm / Midarm Side Clamps

Love these clamps for my longarm.

Bought these for a long arm used for a sewing group. The Velcro came off after the second or third use.

The gripper part that holds the fabric has came off and will not hold the fabric after making only five quilts. These were used for 6 days. I am very disappointed in the quality.

Purchased these after the red snappers were sent back as they fell apart after 2 uses. These seem to rather well but gave them a 4 star as the black grip strip did come loose on them so I removed the strips and re-glued it with E6000 and haven't had a problem, they hold the fabric good on eack side of the quilt and I ordered another set so I have 2 on each side.

I bought these for longarm quilting to hold my fabric tight on the side. It will hold with some tension but slide if there is very much resistance. I ended up going with large clamps.

I've been using these for a month, & these grips work fantastic. I have a Nolting Fun Quilter 17, & after the side grips that came with the machine broke, I purchased these. I wish I had been using them all these years (7 yrs). Their slim design lets me quilt closer to the edges than I have before, & the elastic that holds the clamp to the Velcro strip makes it more forgiving for how taut the backing is held. I was wary of the grips not holding up (per a lot of other reviews), but they are doing just fine. I figure I can glue them back on, if they start giving me trouble. I would definitely purchase again and will be recommending these to all my longarm quilter friends.

After 8 years the elastic on my grace frame grippers is no longer stretchy. I got these as replacements and for much less than the Grace product. They are so much lighter and I can clip them to the fabric with ease. I like the velcro strap and it looks like I can replace the elastic if it wears out. I am a happy quilter!

This broke as soon as I used it. Only one broke, but now what do I do with just one? To expensive to only get one use out of it.
