Just the right amount of information! It is easy to read. There is good amount of cross reference to specific verses of Bhagavad Gita and other scriptures. I am really enjoying studying the glories of Lalita Devi Maa. As a bonus, I also feel Ammachi Amritanandamayi's blessings as I read this. Undoubtedly, this book has my 5 stars recommendation.

Each name is described with context and background. This is a wonderful book, reading which enabled me to learn and remember this wonderful Sahasranamam. The final section on Maanasa Pooja was just as wonderful! Please make sure you read that also!

I used this book to learn each nama of the MahaTripuraSundari and the layers of meaning that are brought forth brought me much joy and gratitude. A must read for anyone learning the Lalitha Sahasranamam.

I met a fellow once who very definably had severe mental problems to the degree that he was isolated in a crowd who did not want to interact with him my wife and i spent a lot of time chatting with him and got to know him quite well. . A short year later we met him again and were both stunned to see how much he had changed and improved from his normally near permanent mental disturbance. His speech became normal and he did not stutter, he was able to look us in the eye when he talked and overall this person was a different person. He no longer stood out as an oddball with contorted facial muscles and more. We couldn't help ourselves, so in friendship we asked him what he did to create so much change . HIs answer was simple and a big surprise to us. "Oh i did the 1000 names of Divine Mother every day" Karen and i were shocked and deeply impressed.This is a true story...a very true story.
