There's a lot going on in this set. If you're looking for Lego with pneumatic (air pump) elements, there aren't many choices and both of them are cranes. The other one is less than half the number of pieces but it's still at least two-thirds the price of this set.This set comes with the pneumatic elements and a cool crane, plus a truck with steering, big tires, and a cool six piston engine. It feels like it has a lot more going on, which means it's more fun to build, and when you're finished playing with the truck, there are more pieces to make something else with. As Lego's price-per-piece keeps going up, I'm always happy to find a set like this that is better value, even at full price. At the moment it's discounted about 15%, which makes it even better.*UPDATE*Now fully assembled, we can report no missing pieces. The set is even cooler than first thought, with great packaging of the pneumatics and gears within the truck body. The pieces that crank the stabilizers into place are really well used. It was a bit tricky to assemble in places, but recommended for most 9 - 12 year olds.

So I bought this tow truck for my hubby. He works for a Towing company and when I saw this I had to get it for him. was so excited when he got it. It was so much fun to watch him put it together . This tow truck is amazing it's huge all the pieces move and work just like a regular tow truck would but it's just tiny. I would highly recommend anyone get this for anyone themselves boyfriend husband it was a great gift and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's into anything like these.

Gift for father and son to share. They both love it and it's held up to a lot more rough play than our sets usually endure because it's just a very cool truck.

This product is a nice set. When received it was shipped without an exterior box, which heightens theft potential because everyone knows what the package contains. The box looked like Ace Ventura kicked it down the road a few miles before delivering. All of the parts are there but the manual did have some slight damage. Some people do collect these things and want the box in nice shape, if that is what your looking for don’t order off Amazon because you will be disappointed.
