GIGABYTEX570S AORUS Master (AMD/ X570S/ Ryzen 5000/ ATX/PCIe 4.0/ SATA 20Gb/s/USB 3.2/ Motherboard)

I was having stability issues with my last motherboard (ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO). That was running Ryzen 2700X and 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4-3200. I believe that the stability was due to my running that ram configuration and the memory controller of the 2700x not being able to handle it at 3200. I know that the ram was not on the QVL for the board, but I took that chance when I got it. I was able to get it (mostly) stable at 3000. But it would still crash in game or when video transcoding large files. After putting up with it for almost 4 years I jumped at the deal offered for the Gigabyte X570S AORUS MASTER. Now I wasn't expecting a huge improvement given that the only thing in the system that changed was the motherboard. But I was pleasantly surprised. The system has been 100% stable since swapping the boards, I powered it on and all that was required was reactivating Windows as the board changed. Activation went fine and away I went. I benchmarked the system and was happy to see it stable with 3200MHz on the ram, an added bonus was that my XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Black was now on PCIe 4.0 which might provide a small uplift in performance, but pretty close as cards don't really benefit from 4.0 yet. Both NVMe drives performed about the same but slightly faster. Don't sleep on this board. It is fantastic. Now I just need to grab a 5900X and I will be good to go until I pull the trigger on AM5.

I bought this motherboard to replace an MSI X570S board that got hit bricked with the common BIOS update bug they have. This Gigabyte motherboard not only looks better, but performs better as well, as well as accommodating a ridiculous amount of M.2 drives for future storage expansion.Overclocking my 5900X on this motherboard is a breeze using either PBO or Active OC Tuner. Buildzoid has a video about utilizing the Active OC Tuner if you really want to get the most out of whatever CPU you've installed. The dual 8-pin power connectors are very welcome, and not a feature you'd see on motherboards in this price range.I absolutely love the debug LED to let you know exactly what is wrong if the computer is not booting, which is again a feature not common on other boards in this price range. It also has a power switch on the motherboard itself in case you wanted to use it as a test bench or want to test the motherboard outside of the PC chassis.Of course it has all of the other common features you'd expect, a plethora of USB ports including a Type-C connector, dual front panel USB 3 connectors, BIOS flashback, WIFI, RGB headers, and 7-channel audio. All in all, a great purchase and something I'm confident will last me years to come.

Hello dear amazon customers who wants to buy this motherboard. I have been gigabyte fan since 1995, ı have never issue with gigabyte product. I am happy with their motherboard. I added my lastest gigabyte motherboard pictures with showing some issue as you can see. Thermal pad does not touch the chokes and some screws bended so ı created replacement with new one again. I will be update after replacemen arrived to me .ı dont understand how pass this motherboard from gigabyte quality control process ( other brands have may same or diffirent issue . not only for gigabyte ) so whatever ı am happy with gigabyte brand motherboards and ı am waiting replacement.13/11/2021 updated reviewReplacement item has been arrived in good condution. There arent any brand motherboard have like this level fan controler via bios.* Mainboard heavy and thick pcb, no bend and no flexing.* Back side armor has thermalpad to cooling motherboard vrm* Overall very well desingned ,* Fan controller good working with noctua pwm fansNow let ı speak some termal temp:* Motherboard as you know has no chipset fan, motherboard passive cooling solution enough to cool chipset. Mine is idle 49 - 57 c and under load 50 -55 c . Because if your gpu has fan stop , it cause some heating chipset but when gpu fan start, chipset C never above 55C under load. What ı mean, if your gpu fan work all time even under low rpm, this can help to cool your chipset.* As you know chipset max operating temp 95C* Vrm temp is ok. max ı have seen 58C* Motherboard some batch with comes LOTES brand cpu socket and some batch comes with FOXCONN .* To this amazon.com : why your decrease you shipping quality ? You have been shipped item transoceanic, only in unprotected carton box.
