My shoes, evidently, have holes that are a little too small for these laces. They hardly have any curl left in them by the time I finish inserting a pair!! Looks pathetic. Also, there are supposed to be 10 pairs……I only got 9 1/2. Was missing a grey lace. Sending them back!!!! In my picture, you can tell which ones I tried to use, and at the bottom the one, lonely grey lace…..

Love the colors and the fun look but they did not work for our needs. My daughter has some fine motor issues and tying shoes is not the easiest. These do not stay tight, so you basically do still have to tie them. Also a week or so after wearing them, an inside string seems to be coming out of the outer layer.. and it looks ridiculous. Fun idea but I think we are going to just find some elastic ones.

Getting the tension right is tricky. Not too tight, not too loose. Following advice in other reviews, I kept them loose, but they were so tangled I couldn’t get the shoes on the kid’s feet, and there was no way she was going to be able manage it. I tried to tighten them without removing them from the shoes, but that was impossible. So I started over, and voila! Success! The child, who cried and fought every time we tried to get shoes on her, now puts them on herself. She wore those shoes every single day until we put another set of laces in another pair. These are amazing, even though they have a learning curve for adults.

The laces are fun but they seem to be wearing out just from being put in the shoes. See the white spots poking through the pink outer lace? Will these last very long?Nope they don’t last. Leaves fell apart after being worn for one day
