I love the quick activation to this device when you push the arm down. I ran a quick test on some bubble wrap and it works perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with this product. Glad I chose the right one. The 16” size should be great for anything I would ever need to seal.

Works great. Easy to adjust the temp.

This is a great little machine for sealing packages in plastic. I recommend you use an 8" by 1500' PVC Shrink Tubing (S-5027 Uline). You will also need a heat gun to shrink wrap after you have sealed the package. Go ahead and order Replacement Heating Elements. Make sure you order 16" and NOT 400mm elements.

Edited: customer service was amazing. I had issues with my first sealer and they replaced it. The sealer works great and I love the fact it has multiple heat settings for thin or thicker bags.Purchased this item in December 2023, 4 months later it just caught on fire. I was able to get it outside before it got bad. it works great just not if you are sealing a couple hundred little bags.

Very easy setup, simply plug in and set the temp around 4 to see how that does. When you close the handle, it automatically turns on, heats up to your temp setting, then shuts off. If you're doing back-to-back seals, it does heat up and when you lay the heat shrink over it, there's enough heat there to start shrinking the wrap. But after a seal, I was able to tear the waste side off while it was still pressed down. When you release the handle, it lifts automatically into the open position so your hands are free.

The machine works ok but it is not built sturdy. The housing was busted in the box but we can still use it. It's too lightweight for it's job.

I'm using this to seal my mylar bags for long-term food storage, and it works great. I really like that it's auto-on/auto-off so that it isn't just a heat wire that just stays on and burns the bag (or yourself). Very handy tool, and can fit all sorts of bag sizes for sealing.

Purchased as a back up sealer. Never unpacked or out of the box. Stored in a safe dry place. Pulled out to use about 16 months later and nothing. Doesn't activate, doesn't heat, doesn't work at all. Now that is what you call QUALITY... Complete garbage. Try to make it a point now a days to test everything when first received. You hate to unpack and put things through the rigors when you won't need it for months, perhaps years but everything is going to crap and nothing but crap is being assembled by people that are not worth a crap so I guess this is what it has come to. Run the crap out of everything when you first get it and push it to the limit so if it is going to fail you know it in the beginning.
