I bought this based on a friend's recommendation and I fell in love immediately. I just returned from Mexico where I shot a wedding and put this crystal ball to use. The Sphere is very clear no imperfections to the eye and makes it an interesting photo object, or just a nice decoration conversation piece.For photography 3 1/5" 80mm is a decent size. I like the focal contrast when using a wide aperture like f2.8 or wider.Lots of possibilities for this object and more perhaps...

My Crystal ball is going to be great to use with my photography. It arrived completely clear and without a single scratch. This is a great company. This product arrived on time and was not damaged which says a lot when transporting a glass ball. The item is quality. The glass is heavy duty not cheap and one drop life is over glass. I appreciate all of the packaging. I am sure that is why this item arrived so flawlessly. I am impressed. This is an item that can take your photography to another level. Buy this!

I really enjoy this little sphere!I’ve spent the afternoon looking for ways to use it and I’ve added a couple photos with before and after.It will sit on my table when I’m not using as it looks nice as well.4 stars is due to a small dark spot on the glass base. It’s the only flaw I’ve found so far.

This is an interesting piece to use for real photography effects. Nice quality glass and glass stand that came with the ball. There was a good secure holding bag as well that can also be used for polishing; it could have been a little larger though. Nice item to have fun with. This is going to be more interesting for me once I buy my new macro lens!

This is an awesome crystal ball with a stand! No scuffs, marks etc. Very clean and clear. I use it for photography and it is amazing. I’m glad I ordered this one out of all of them. It also comes with a small pouch that fits the ball. The only thing I wish they would include was a small pouch for the stand as well. Oh and it also comes with a quality cleaning cloth to wipe the crystal down. I’ll buy this again. It’s a no brainer. You won’t regret it.

I ordered two crystal balls, the Clear Crystal Ball with Stand, MerryNine 3 1/5 /80mm Art Decor K9 Crystal Prop for Photography decoration, and an Amlong Crystal Meditation Ball Globe with Freen Crystal Stand 80mm, Clear. Both were $15.00.The MerryNine was crystal clear. No blemishes...none. Even the crystal base that came with it was crystal clear. It also came with a nice little bag to store the glass in. The Amlong was terrible by comparison. It had a small chip in it, and had many small imperfections spread throughout the glass. The stand was also blemished.I ordered both because I had my doubts about what kind of quality I would get for $15.00. I'm glad I had two for comparison. If you really want crystal clear glass, buy the MerryNine.

Did I NEED a crystal ball? No!Did I see all the super cool creative pics people are doing with them thinking I’d actually recreate them?! Yes!Have I done any of the sort? Big nope.This is a solid crystal ball with a cute teeny tiny adorable stand. It now lives as another thing on my office desk. Aside from the idea of taking fun pics with it & trying to summon up the Haunted Mansion ghost lady… I also see this as a great thing to chuck strongly at an intruder if they tried to enter. All in all. Great purchase, hope you like yours & do more with it that I have!
