Helping Athletes Develop = Developing your Team
McKormick did it again, another fantastic read for all coaches, trainers, and even players. Our entire coaching community for all sports need to have access to books like this. Coaches do things just because that is what they saw. As a coach ask yourself. "Why do you do what you do?"Why do you teach, run drills, and systems that you do? Do you encourage a growth mindset in your players and help them learn in a way that they retain and transfer it to a game? I suggest you read every one of McKormicks books - I promise if you are just a little open minded - the books could be profound! Glad I learned through my undergrad and graduate education back in the day to question things,be open minded, and be a constant learner always seeking to do things better than just be normal. It's not an expensive book, so take the challenge to read the book. At the very least do it because you love your athletes.

Another good one by Coach McCormick
Another good one by Coach McCormick! The 21st Century Guide for the Individual breaks down the skills needed for the today's basketball player. From dribbling, shooting and finishing Coach McCormick shares some of the best drills to help your young athlete. If you are a parent, coach, etc you will find some great tools to enhance your players individual skill set. McCormick also does a great job of explaining how to transform the skills to the actual game. Must read for the 21st century player!

Imagination is your best coach
I think we all know this but no one can make you better more than you. McCormick uses science and some common sense when detailing how you can make yourself a better basketball player. As coaches we think we need to have all answers, McCormick and many of the new age think coaches need to have the questions, and let the players discover the answers. Great read have enjoyed all his books

How to Improve
This book provides for helping get better by making mistakes. This is where you learn. Improvements come when you fail. Good read. Finished in 2 days

It’s a gem!
I would purchase this book again and will reread it (likely several times) - best testimonials, from my perspective, regarding any text.

Informative
This book was very informative. What I did not like about the book is that some of the diagrams cover up some of the book and it was no way to move it. This is on the electronic version.
