I never knew just how much difference this would make, for detailed patchwork blocks as well as those with just 3 seams, crisp flat seams are a lovely sight. Not used the pressing cloth yet but the clapper is smooth, weighty and perfectly designed. Pleasure to use !

I am a seamstress and this clapper gives perfect results, the wood is very smooth so no fear of fabric snagging.

The media could not be loaded.  Apparently when you turn 50 you either up your ironing game or abandon it all together. I fell down the rabbit hole of YouTube ironing videos and here I am, the proud owner of a new clapper (seam presser).My husband is in the military and they are extremely fussy about sharp creases. I have to say that this little beauty does the trick. It’s also great for smoothing out fabric during the ironing process.The clapper has a beautiful feel to it and is made with Beechwood. It is very smooth and has handy finger grooves down each side so it is comfortable to hold.It comes with a pressing cloth which appears to be made with a polyester mesh. Nice little addition but I think I prefer a cotton pressing cloth.Highly recommend.

Excellent finish that feels great to the touch. Also ergonomically designed for easy handling.

Great for pressing quilt seams.
