Watch the Dicor installation how-yo video on their wensite
We bought an old camper for a steal and have been fixing it up. The roof needed to be replaced and I had been saving up to have it done professionally. I had done all the work on the camper to that point but had no desire to tackle the roof. I got quotes from RV stores and quickly realized I was about to replace my own roof ($$$$$). So I did what every DIYer does and binged on YouTube instructional videos. I picked up a lot of knowledge and ideas. Then I stumbled upon the Dicor instructional video, circa 1980s, and realized the TPO install was way easier than the YouTubers were doing it. My dad helped me replace the wood, which took 2 full days, and a girlfriend helped me install the TPO in about 2 hours. There are a few bubbles, but hey, I didn’t have to spend 10k. I’ll take it.

Delivered
This is how we received our expensive roof membrane. Absolutely horrible...Delivered by Ceva and not our first delivery from them that showed up looking like this....

Thinner than expected
After getting quotes of $6500-$11,000 to have someone replace the roof, I decided to tackle it myself. I had to fix some rotten spots and remove some wet insulation, so it took a few weeks of free time. Tearing up the old rubber membrane pulled pieces of the OSB up with it. I didn't think much of that until I put the new membrane on and noticed the surface was very uneven with small points showing through. The new membrane is considerably thinner than what I removed. Only time will tell if it holds up.

So far, so good!
Packed and shipped with care, properly in a roll! Just re-decked our 24’ Dutchman, rolled this out and it looks great.

Excellent replacement
Installation was very straightforward. Surface preparation is very important along with using the dicor sealant and glue. Excellent replacement membrane that will extend the life of our camper for several years.
